In 1992 Dave Ramsey was just coming out of bankruptcy. He was selling his first book out of the trunk of his car and got an opportunity to be on a radio show in Nashville. What Dave didn’t know at the time was that the radio station was failing and going through massive layoffs. After his appearance on this radio show, Dave pitched the idea that he could do a daily financial show during one of the time slots that would become vacant as the station began laying off their higher paid DJs. This show would later be known as the Dave Ramsey Show, a nationally syndicated radio show that is still airing today, 25 years later. Dave’s success started modestly and grew little by little. As the economy got better people became more and more interested in his show and products. Today, he is a multi-millionaire. How did he do it?
