What could a book do for your business?
In this episode, I share a behind-the-scenes look at what a book does for you and your business. It can be summed up in a single word—status.
First, of course, you need to write your book. It must be a book that speaks truth to your ideal audience. It needs to address their problems, difficulties, and challenges. It needs to give them solutions and hope.
Then you must market your book and get it in the hands of your ideal audience. Think about it. Your message is delivered to your ideal audience in the form of a book. You have their undivided attention. They get the chance to know you, like you, and trust you. They see that you have the answers to their problems.
You see, most business owners are the hunters
· Struggling to find new clients
· Constantly pursuing them
· Chasing income opportunities
But with a well-targeted, well-written, and well-marketed book, you become the hunted
· New clients start looking for you
· You are being asked to work with them
· You attract income
In a word, you have status. If you are a coach, a consultant, a financial advisor, a doctor, a brick-and-mortar business owner, or an expert of some kind, a book can raise your status.
You have the option to invest your time to figure it all out and do it yourself. Alternatively, you can invest your resources with a professional who does it for you. Either way, if you do this, your status grows. And so does your desirability, income, and impact.
